CBiS Education use practical ways to engage students in both primary and secondary education through our student programmed robotic kits which make the computer science curriculum more fun and accessible both to teacher and student. We encourage and support the introduction of an after school club and an Innovation, Engineering & Computing enrichment programme using joint teacher and student workshops.
Cardboard2Code Primary Workshop

We deliver various different workshops which demonstrate the pure engagement capablity of our equipment, and can be a surefire way of understanding how to use the equipment in the classroom.

  • Cardboard2Code - can be delivered in primary or secondary school - half day to full day sessions
  • Want to move things with your mind? - using our Emotiv Education Kit - typically secondary school, Further & Higher Education
  • Enrichment Days - these are custom workshops where we hack other equipment using our kits
  • Raspberry Jams - these are based around the Raspberry Pi and are great STEAM events with lots of maker aspects

Keep an eye on our blog for articles about our workshops - if you have workshop you want us to help with, please get in contact

CBiS Education came into Stoke Newington on a drop-down day in which year 9 students were able to engage directly with control technology in an interesting and stimulating way. They were given direct control over programming different robotics, a car and a robotic arm. Students were all involved in either producing an environment for the car to traverse, writing the programme to run the car effectively or use the arm to move and pick up different objects. This was challenging, engaging and enjoyable. CBiS Education's help was invaluable and I would recommend their technology and expertise to any school which is delivering and developing their computer science curriculum.
